  2. In recent years, the aviation industry has changed dramatically. The changes have affected the passenger number, the aircraft design, air transportation and airports as well. First let’s discuss air transportation. Air transportation has become more popular, cheaper and also available and it has three main types which are an increase in passenger numbers, a growth in freight volume and an increase in low-cost carriers. The number of passenger changed and increased that 2.4 million passengers who travelled by airplane in 2009. Millions of tonnes of cargo are transported annually by air-freight companies.
Second are airports which have adjusted to the increase in passenger numbers. Airports have to build new facilities like runways, terminals and new airports project such as NDIA which is New Doha International Airport that will cost 40 billion Dollars to complete. In general, passenger numbers will continue to grow, building new terminals, runways and new airports to accommodate the aviation industry.

  3. Nowadays, the air transportation has become popular and cheap for people are interested in travel. It is also available to everyone. So let’s start with the passengers numbers. As we know the passengers numbers have increased compared to the previous year to reach 204 billion passengers in 2009. In addition, the freight volume has also grown millions of tons of cargo are transportation by airfreight companies. A lot of these airlines that started recently are low-cost-carriers. Some examples in the Middle East are flydubai (FZ), airarabia (G9) and Bahrain airways (BN). As for the aircraft the airbus A 380 can carry more than 500 passengers.
To adjust to the increased number of passengers and volume of freight airports also need to build new facilities, to expand terminals and build new runways to handle more passengers and freight and to avoid congestion.
On the other hand, the industry has experienced some setbacks as result of economic downturn, terrorism and political unrest.
Finally, aviation industry will rely on technology to process passengers efficiently. Where passengers will do all the processing on their own.

  4. Nowadays the air transportation has become more popular, cheaper, available to everyone and people prefer travelling by plane in general. Also the aviation industry has changed in many ways the number of aircraft has increased dramatically. There is also a growth in the numbers of airlines and airports.
In 2009 the numbers of passengers reached 2.4 billion it was a substantial growth. This increase in passengers caused a rise in the airline numbers and as effect of that the type of airlines and services that are provided for travelers .For example the low cost carriers that offer cheap tickets like flydubia (FZ) and Bahrain airline (BN).
Another change of aviation industry has affected the aircraft design and Airbus A380 is example of an aircraft that can carry more than 500 passengers. In addition to all that because the number of passengers has increased many countries have built new airports or changed their airports by building new terminals and runways. Also the increase is not only in passenger numbers but also in the cargo which improved by 12% in 2009 compared to 2008 .
It seems that this increase will continue unless there are some problems that aviation will face like the economic downturn, political unrest and terrorism.
